Next, I bought ArtRage today. I dled the starter ed at work during the week and really enjoyed it, I think it's going to be absolutely perfect for the comic(s) that Mell and I are going to produce. Really wanted to get a painty/inky effect and much as I love Photoshop, I do not love making and saving custom brushes and then remembering which ones I used for what

Plus it's dirt cheap. Can't go wrong!

And last, I really need to stop drawing stupid tiny things that have no perspective and little to no background - my attention span is utter fail. Producing finished things ftw, and I certainly used to do it, so there's no excuse really. Need to just draw something, doesn't matter what - I spend too long labouring over ideas and thinking it's not good enough for the concept. I should go and cut loose and do some fanart or something that has no pressure attached and get my groove back.
